「恋のピンチヒッター」という邦題がついていて、「本命の彼氏の代わりに女性とデートしているわけね」と勝手に想像していましたが、ちょっと違いましたね。貧民街で育った男がそこそこ裕福に育った女性とデートして、お前に本当の俺なんか分からねぇだろうなぁ、と歌う歌です。そういう「Substitute」か。
