アルバムのタイトルナンバーですが、非常に穏やかな曲です。「自分をより高みに押し上げて、愛する気持ちを広げよう、世界はまだ冷たいのだから」と歌う曲で、穏やかな曲調の中で、諭すように私たちに語り掛けます。このアルバムは日本では大して注目も浴びなかったし、売れもしなかったんですが、やっぱり歌詞が分からないと魅力は1/10ですよねぇ。このアルバムが出た1975年は、石油ショックはあったし、世界の通貨は決して安定していなかったし、アメリカはインフレでみんな不安を抱えていたし、ベトナム戦争から立ち直り切っていなかったし、でした。その中で未来を明るいものとしてそのために行動を起こそうと歌ったのは、みんなを力づけたんですね。
