1976年に発表されたElton Johnの11枚目のスタジオアルバムです。で、彼が作ったレコードレーベルRocket Recordから発売した最初のアルバムです。英米ともヒットチャートは3位まで上がり、イギリスではゴールドディスク、アメリカではプラチナディスクを獲得しました。日本では最高位53位、販売枚数は1万枚程度でしたから、最盛期には遠く及びませんでしたね。Elton Johnの絶頂期は、6枚目の「Dont't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player(ピアニストを撃つな)」から10枚目の「Rock of the Westies」まででした。このアルバムは、その絶頂期のアルバムに比べると、あまり売れ線を狙わず、オーケストラも積極的に入れて、落ち着いた曲調だったのですが、私はこれが一番好きです。Elton Johnは実はこの頃超スーパースターの生活に疲れ始めていたのだとか。落ち着いたアルバムを作りたかったようです。Elton johnにとっても好きなアルバムなのだとか。
